Teaching

We offer opportunities for Bachelor and Masters thesis as well as lab rotation projects for undergraduate students (if you are interested in, get in touch with Arne Weiberg a.weiberg@lm.de).

Each winter semester we run a Master´s module (9 ETCS points) on 'Small RNAs in plant-microbe interactions' that presents a historical survey & current concepts of RNAi in animals, plants, and microbes, RNAi in plant immunity highlighting cross-kingdom RNAi as a cutting-edge research field in trans-kingdom RNA transport & communication. This includes a 3-weeks practical course while we teach hands-on experience to students in pathogen and plant small RNA analysis during host-microbe interactions.
